What is HST?

Hair Stem-cell Transplantation (HST) is a patented hair transplant technique originally developed for hair restoration in burn patients. The effectiveness of HST has been scientifically proven and the results are second to none. No other hair transplant technique comes close to HST. It is considered the best there is in the field of hair transplantation.

What are the advantages of HST over other techniques like FUE?

HST is an advanced technique used for hair transplants. It offers several advantages compared to the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) method. First, the HST procedure has a shorter recovery period and less post-operative pain and discomfort compared to FUE. This is because the hair follicles recover faster and undergo less trauma during transplantation. Downtime is therefore significantly shorter after HST than with FUE.

Another advantage is that hair stem cell transplantation does not leave permanent scars, unlike FUE where small spot scars can occur. Also, with the HST method, great care is taken to create a natural hairline, resulting in a more natural end result. The donor area, which is sometimes considerably thinned out with FUE, is better preserved with HST: at least 80% regrowth in the donor area ensures that repeat treatments remain possible.

So overall, HST offers more advantages in terms of treatment options, recovery and aesthetic results compared to FUE.
