Patients for educational purposes

As you can understand, to educate the (international) medical doctors and nurses in Maastricht as well as in the facility of the partner in order to earn the license needed to qualify for performing HairStemcell Transplantations (HST), we sometimes need patients who are willing to undergo the treatment for educational purposes at a reduced price. We offer two options for those patients.

The first option is for patients who are willing to undergo the treatment for medical doctors and technicians in their first period of training. During this period, the number of grafts per session can be less than the minimum of 600 grafts. Also the time spend for an educational treatment can take longer than regular treatments. Although the treatment will always take place under the supervision of one of the educators of Hair Science Institute, and the re-growth of the grafts is guaranteed, Hair Science Institute is willing to compensate up to 75% reduction of the normal rate for these inconveniences.

The second option is for patients who are willing to undergo the treatment for medical doctors and technicians in their last period of training. During this period, the number of grafts per session will be the same as a normal treatment (minimum of 600 grafts, average of 1200 grafts). However, the time spend for an educational treatment can take longer than regular treatments. Although the treatment will always take place under the supervision of one of the educators of Hair Science Institute, and the re-growth of the grafts is guaranteed, Hair Science Institute is willing to compensate up to 25% reduction of the normal rate for these inconveniences.
